Change Energy will be issuing statements for the 2018-19 Financial year to customers eligible for solar buyback.  Due to GST rules, Change Energy requires customers to send us an invoice in order to make payment on any solar exported back to the grid.

This financial year, Change Energy will be paying out approximately $45,000 to customers. 

If you have accrued solar buyback credit with Change Energy over the last financial year, we will contact you around mid-July 2019. We will provide details explaining the invoicing process and how we issue your credit to you.

Based on our current customer base, approximately 30% of customer sites have solar that is exporting to the grid.
