We always strive to issue invoices as close to your usual billing cycle as possible. However, occasionally our network provider’s systems or data processing may experience delays that push billing beyond the expected date. 

Sometimes, this data can be delayed due to various reasons, including: 

  • Metering service delays from the network provider 
  • Recent meter upgrades or replacement at your property 
  • Meter data validation issues 
  • We identify large adjustments in meter data which requires investigating

Recently, our network provider experienced technical difficulties, meaning they haven’t been able to supply updated meter readings for some accounts since the last scheduled read. As a result, we’ve been unable or delayed to issue bills for those business customers customers on the standard billing periods. 

Rest assured, Change Energy is working closely with the network provider to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. We’ll issue updated bills for all impacted accounts as soon as accurate meter data becomes available.

What if my invoice has been delayed?

We’ll issue your invoice as soon as two things happen:

  1. We’ve received the required meter data from the network operator, and/or

  2. Any verification queries—for any queries we send this directly to the network operator to provide further clarification/verification. 

We understand billing delays are frustrating, so rest assured: once those steps are done, we’ll process and send your invoice immediately. If you ever have questions or concerns, our team is just a call or email away.
